A. Irven Roberts, Jr. 1936 ~ 2009 Our loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend, Archie Irven Roberts, Jr., 73, passed away December 4, 2009, in Salt Lake City, Utah. Born July 17, 1936 in West Weber, Utah to Viola Penman and Archie Irven Roberts. Irven was an Office Manager for a Construction Company. Irven married Mary Jorgensen in the Salt Lake Temple on August 20, 1959 and had 50 wonderful years with her. He was a member of the LDS church and served in many callings. He served several missions with his wife. He loved camping with friends and family. He is survived by his loving wife, Mary; 2 sons: Roland Irven (Donnis), Curtis Jay (Lori); 1 sister, Viola Mae (Kenneth) Allred; 7 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild. Preceded in death by younger sister, Lena Ann (Jay Dee)Wood. Funeral service will be held Wednesday, December 9, 2009, 11:00 a.m. at the Logan 9th Ward, 125 East 500 North, Logan, Utah. Friends may pay their respects on Tuesday, December 8, 2009, 6-8:00 p.m. at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road, Taylorsville and Wednesday at the church in Logan, 10-10:45 am. Interment, Huntsville Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, family suggests making a donation to the charity of your choice.
