Aaron Gherna

Arthur Aaron Gherna, 31, of Safford passed Away on Friday, June 22, 2012 at the Mt. Graham Regional Medical Center in Safford. He was born on July 16, 1980 in Safford to Arthur and Frances Parra Gherna. Aaron graduated from Safford High School, and attended the U of A. He was studying business management and was just a couple credits short of graduating. He was a diehard New England Patriots fan, as well as a Wildcat and Dodger fan. He was fluent in Italian, Spanish and was currently learning French. Aaron loved spending time with his daughter and son. He loved to be with his family and especially his nieces. He was a good son, grandson, brother, uncle, and friend. Aaron is survived by his parents; daughter, Gabrianna Marie Gherna; son, Christopher Santino Cocino-Gherna; brothers, Jason (Rosanna) Gherna, and Gabriel (Jessica Merino) Gherna; sister, Jessica Gherna; cousin, David Bubba Gherna; grandmother, Edermida Frances Parra; grandparents, Charlie and Linda Gherna; and nieces, Mariah, Danielle, Rory, Alliyah and Lauren. Aaron was preceded in death by his grandfather, Anselmo Chemo Parra. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Saturday, June 30, 2012 at the Church at Safford, 3616 S Hwy 19, Safford, AZ.
