Alegaro "Alex" Cuellar, born on April 30, 1935, in Kaufman, Texas, passed away peacefully at his residence on January 30, 2025. He was a dedicated telecommunications specialist for the Arizona Department of Public Safety, where his contributions played a vital role in the infrastructure of the state.
Alex proudly served in the United States Navy from 1954 to 1958, exemplifying a spirit of courage and commitment to his country. His military service is a testament to his character and dedication, traits that he carried throughout his life.
He is survived by cherished memories of his loving wife of 64 years Lenore Cuellar, his parents, Abel and Maria Cuellar, who preceded him in death. Although they are no longer with us, their influence and legacy will continue to be felt in the lives of those who knew them.
A graveside service will be held in his honor at Thatcher Cemetery in Thatcher, Arizona, on February 21, 2025, starting at 11:00 AM and concluding at 12:00 PM. Friends and family are invited to gather to celebrate the life of a remarkable man who left an indelible mark on those around him.
