Alene Tyler Fitzgerel 1920 ~ 2007 Alene Tyler Fitzgerel was born to Jim and Cornelia Thomas Tyler November 11, 1920 in Wynn, AR, and went to be with Jesus on December 15, 2007 in West Jordan, Utah. Alene worked at the International Hat Factory in Oran, MO for 35 years before leaving her home in Morley to move to Salt Lake City, where she was a Salt Lake County Aging Services Senior Companion. She was a very hard worker and maintained a spotless home until Alzheimer's took away that ability. The Bible calls a woman's long hair her glory, and Alene's uncut hair was her special glory. She is survived by two sons, Rev. William and LeeAnna Fitzgerel and John and Joyce Kay Fitzgerel, six grandchildren, Jerris Fitzgerel, Glenna and Shane Lasater, Sondra Vu, and Tonya and Rubin Gonzales, David and Andrea Phillips of Salt Lake, and Vern and Samantha Fitzgerel of New Madrid, MO and 15 great grandchildren. Her brothers also survive, Vernon "Bud" and Jean Tyler of Selma, AL, Lloyd Tyler of Poplar Bluff, MO, and Raymond and Etyolle Tyler of Vance, Alabama. Preceded in death by one infant sister and two sisters-in-law, Naomi and Alene. There will be a viewing Thursday, 5- 7:00 pm at The First Apostolic Church, 1680 W. Stratford, West Valley City, Utah followed by the funeral at 7:00 pm. Graveside service and burial will be Friday, 1:00 pm at Valley View Memorial Park, 4400 W. 4100S. West Valley City, UT.
