Alexander Romero

Alexander Arthur Romero was born on January 4, 1993 in Safford, AZ to Michelle Aranda & Alex Romero and raised by Michelle Aranda Olver & Eric Thomas Olver, Jr. with siblings Mackenzie & Maloree Olver and Darian, Deven & Alena. He lived in a loving home with his grandparents in Central, Arizona for a number of years. During that time, he enjoyed many activities with his grandpa; such as fishing, camping, cooking and hunting. With his grandma, he attended her preschool. He went on family vacation to California, visiting Disneyland, the ocean, Universal Studios and family. Around this time, he moved in with his mother and stepfather, Eric Olver in Chandler, Arizona. At a young age, he played T-ball and soccer. When he grew up, his sport was football, which he excelled in. His position was linebacker. He had a great bond with his team mates. He attended school at Estrella Foothills High School in Goodyear, AZ, graduating in 2011. He then attended Estrella Community College. Alexander had the heart of a lion. He loved his family and enjoyed making new friends and enjoying many new adventures. The birth of his niece, Tatum Penelope Olver, was the highlight of his life. His favorite saying was " wasn't me". He is survived by his parents Eric Thomas Olver, Jr. & Michelle Aranda Olver, his biological father Alex (Jami) Romero, his siblings; Mackenzie Olver, Maloree Olver, Darian, Deven & Alena, his pets; Honey & Dixie, and many Aunts, Uncles, Nieces & Nephews. Alexander was preceded in death by his Grandfathers; Arturo Aranda and Patricinio Romero and his Uncle Sammy Romero. He leaves us too soon, our beloved Son, Brother, Uncle, Nephew, Cousin, Grandson and Friend! Services for Alexander will be held on Friday, January 3, 2020 at the River Church in Safford with interment in the Central Cemetery.
