Irene Wendel Hansen 8/27/13 ~ 9/5/08 Alice Irene Sudbury Wendel Hansen, 95, passed away September 5, 2008 in Salt Lake City, Utah. Born August 27, 1913 in Salt Lake City, Utah, daughter of Samuel A. and Burtha Kunkle Sudbury. Married Leonard F. Wendel in 1935; he preceded her in death in 1977. Married Walter Henry Hansen in 1980; he preceded her in death in 1999. She worked many jobs and always enjoyed her association with employers, co-workers and customers. Survived by her daughters: Jeanine (Howard) Andrews and Kathy Hanson; stepdaughters: Carol (Don) Daniels and Marlene (Jim) Larson; grandchildren: Lori, Lisa, Leonard and David; great-grandson, Ryan; sisters; Lucille Callihan and Phyllis Balfour. Also preceded in death by 2 brothers; 1 sister. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, 1:00 p.m. at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road where a viewing will be held, 12-12:45 p.m. Interment, Valley View Memorial Park.
