Allie McCasland

Allie Mae McCasland Mamaw Our beloved mother and grandmother passed away Monday, December 17, 2007 at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born April 3, 1916 in Marshall, Texas to Johnnie Leonard and Allie Mae Brown McWilliams. She was a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served in the music, Sunday School and mutual auxiliaries, librarian and also as a temple worker in the Jordan River Temple. Allies greatest joy in life was her family and all benefitted from her great faith and wisdom. She was a wonderful lady and will be missed by all who knew her. Allie is survived by her five children: Margaret Bennett, Richard McCasland, Atlanta, TX; Darlene Larsen, Glenda Justice and Gloria (Gary) Kettle. She left a legacy of 20 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren. Preceded in death by her parents; 3 sisters; 2 grandsons. The family would like to extend a special thank you toYolanda, Rhonda and Dr. Crystal Owens, of CareSource, for their compassionate service to our mother; we are very appreciative of their kindness. A celebration of her life will be held Friday, December 21, 2007, 12:00 noon at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road where friends may call Thursday, 6-8 p.m. and Friday, 10:45-11:45 a.m. prior to services. Interment, Redwood Memorial Estates. We love you and will miss you till we meet again!
