Andrea Bowser

August 19, 1981 — July 3, 2013

Andrea Lucille Bowser, 31, passed away on July 3, 2013 in Mesa, AZ. Andrea Lucille Bowser, affectionately known as Pie, was born to the late John Bowser and Verna Jensen in Miami, Arizona on August 19, 1981. Andrea grew up in Thatcher, Arizona, but soon moved to Miami, Arizona to live with her father and step-mother Wanda, when her mother, Verna moved to Las Vegas to look for work. Andrea attended third and fourth grades in Miami before moving to Glendale, Arizona with her mother, Verna. Andrea attended Carson Jr. High School and graduated from Westwood High School in Mesa, Arizona in 2000. Andrea loved her grandmother Jensen, they were inseparable, where you saw one, you saw the other. Her grandmother made many trips to Miami and Mesa to visit Andrea whenever she could, she could not live without her little buddy. But, if you were Pies brother or one of the cousins, they would say different, if you did anything, said anything, Pie would tell on you. Many times she would run and hide from her because she tattled so much, they would laugh so hard theyd cry, Pie wouldnt find them, but she ran and tattled anyway. Andrea loved to shop, especially on-line; she never opened any of the packages, just loved buying things. If you ever visited her, you would see package after package of things shed bought, but never opened or used. One of her favorite things to do was going to the movies and eating at Texas Roadhouse. She loved music; especially rap; her favorite artist was E-40. After high school Andrea worked for AT&T and Verizon until her health took a turn for the worse forcing her to quit. In 2011, Andrea was diagnosed with scleroderma or sclerosis, a hardening of the skin and internal organs. In March of 2013, Andrea was admitted to Banner Health in Mesa due to complications from a fall and hemorrhaging of the brain. Andrea never fully recovered from her sickness and on July 3, 2013, she succumbed to her illness. Andrea leaves to cherish her memory, her step-mothers, Wanda Bowser and Norma Martinez of Globe, Arizona; two sisters, Sharon Bowser of Avondale and Tiana Bowser of Globe; three brothers, Nicholas (Jovanna) Bowser of Mesa, Brian (Ranae) Bowser of Paradise Valley, DeWayne (Sermira) Bowser of Queen Creek; aunts, Virginia (Curtis) Johnson, Hazel (Lonnie) Graham, Shirley (Wade) Turner, Ann Klajda, Denise (Terry) Motley, Clarene (Ronald) LeBaron and Toni Calkins; uncles, Dennis (Moneta) Jensen, Robert (Susie) Turner, Ronnie Turner, and Larry (Colleen) Turner; a host of nieces and nephews, countless friends and other relatives who loved and will truly miss her.
