Andrew Gurtler

Andrew Corbin Gurtler, 18, of Morenci, passed away on Friday September 19, 2014 in Morenci, Arizona due to a car accident. Andrew was born March 7, 1996, to Julie Ann Tracy-Gurtler and Matthew David Gurtler in Safford, AZ. Andrew graduated from Morenci High School in May 2014. He loved snow boarding, rock climbing, hiking, riding his ATV and camping. He loved being outdoors experiencing all the sights and challenge of Mother Nature. Andrew is survived by his mother; Julie Ann Gurtler of Morenci, father; Matthew David Gurtler, & step-mother; Heather Gurtler of Gilbert, AZ. Siblings; Melissa and Matthew J. Gurtler of Morenci, Cully Stearns, of Abilene, TX, Hayden Gurtler, step brothers; Tyler and Dan Crochet of Gilbert and Bradley Dorries of Yuma, AZ, grandparents; David and Bonnie Tracy of Clifton, Great grandparents; Steven and Bonnie Ray of Clifton and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. He is also survived by the Love of His Life; Jasmine Murillo, of Morenci. He is preceded in death by his older brother Steven Gurtler, cousin; Randall Gurtler and grandparents; Joseph and Teresa Gurtler. A viewing for Andrew was held on Saturday, September 27, 2014 at the First Assembly of God in Morenci from 2:00 until 4:00 pm. with the Funeral service at 4:00 pm. Interment was in the Sacred Heart Cemetery in Morenci.
