Anna Garrett

Biography Anna Marie Garrett, 78, of Duncan, entered into rest on Monday, September 24, 2012 at the Tucson Medical Center. She was born on September 22, 1934 in Nashville, TN. Anna Marie grew up on a farm in Tennessee. She married James Edward Garrett on August 8, 1964 in Winterhaven, CA. James entered into rest in September 1997. She cared for many elderly people over the years, she loved her dogs, loved to feed the birds, and to watch the TV series Sons of Anarchy. She is survived by her sons, Jim (Sarah) Garrett of Virden, NM, and Michael (Tammy) Garrett of Duncan; a sister, Patricia Ann Lynch of Yuma; a brother Thomas Haskell West; and four grandchildren, Maigan (Eli) Toney of Silver City, NM, Jamie Garrett of Albuquerque, NM, Steven Garrett and Ryan Garrett both of Duncan, AZ. A private graveside service will be held for her family, and a memorial service will be announced at a later date.
