Anna Susanna Huffenberger was born June 29, 1919 in Hamilton, Butler, Ohio, to Mathias and Susanna Yeager. She was the second of three children. Anna lived 87 years in Hamilton, Ohio before relocating to Safford, AZ in August 2006. She passed away at her home in Safford, AZ on November 5, 2010. Anna graduated from Hamilton High School in 1938. Shortly thereafter, she married her high school sweetheart, Robert Lawrence Huffenberger, on March 18, 1939 in Newport, Kentucky. They celebrated their 71st anniversary on March 18, 2010. Important to Anna was her membership in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints where she held positions in Primary and Relief Society and sang in the choir. Their family was sealed for eternity in the LDS Salt Lake Temple on 20 June 1961. Anna enjoyed being a wife, mother, grandmother, and homemaker. She loved to garden and could get anything she planted to grow. She liked to cook, sew, and spend time with family, especially her grandchildren. Anna is survived by her loving husband, Robert; two children Robert (Jane) Huffenberger and Susan (George) Garcia; two granddaughters Shelena (David) Shamo and Lesley Huffenberger; one niece and two nephews. Anna was preceded in death by her parents, one sister Rose, and one brother Samuel. A private family graveside service was held on Tuesday, November 9, 2010. Interment is in the Safford Cemetery.
