Anna Lucostic

Anna Lucostic, 94 Former Kearns, UT resident Anna Eva Lucostic died Sept 24, 2009 at her home in Escondido CA. She was born June 16, 1915 in Chestnut Ridge PA to Marco and Mary Golubich and was one of three children. Anna married John Jay Lucostic in 1934 and together they raised three sons on a farm in Union Town PA. In 1954 she and her family moved to Kearns UT where she lived until 2004. Anna was very active in the St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Kearns. There she started the Legion of Mary offering service to the clergy and parish members. Anna is survived by her sons Frank and Chester, 7 grand children, 13 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband John Jay and son Buzz. A rosary will be held Tuesday Sept 29 at 7pm at McDougal Funeral Home at 4330 South Redwood Rd, Taylorsville UT. The memorial service will be held Wednesday Sept 30 at 10:30am at St Francis Xavier 4501 West 5215 South, Kearns UT.
