Anna Spencer

Anna Lea Lloyd Spencer 1923 ~ 2008 Anna Lea Lloyd Spencer, 84, passed away January 2, 2008 surrounded by loved ones at home. She was born January 15, 1923 in Salt Lake City, Utah, to Norman Lea and Annie Beatrice Jones Lloyd, the youngest of four children. She married A. Glenn Spencer November 15, 1943 in the Salt Lake Temple and they spent 64 wonderful years together. Anna Lea was kind, generous, cheerful, loving and devoted to her family. She loved playing the piano, raising roses, gardening, board games, reading church books, and doing genealogy. As a daughter of the Utah Pioneers, she was very proud of her heritage. She was a graduate of UC Berkeley and majored in Interior Design. She was proud of her childrens many accomplishments. She is survived by her husband, Glenn; children: Glenn (Karen) Spencer, Patricia Anne Spencer, Doug (Connie) Spencer, Elizabeth Lea (Erik) Konstad, and Sara Lea (Paul) Bury; 18 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death are her parents; 3 brothers and a son, Norman Lloyd Spencer. Memorial services will be held Saturday, 10:00 a.m. at the Taylorsville 15th Ward, 1457 West Atherton Drive (4375 South). Interment, Kaysville Cemetery. Arrangements under the direction of McDougal Funeral Home.
