Antonio Ballard Norman, affectionately known as “Cheese” and “Tino,” left this world far too soon on February 7, 2025, in Peridot, Arizona. Born on July 18, 1993, in Safford, Arizona, Antonio grew to become a vibrant soul who touched the lives of many with his loving and caring spirit. He was a hard-working laborer in the mining industry, dedicating himself to provide for his cherished family.
Antonio was not merely a provider; he was a protector, valuing family and friendships above all else. His presence was a warm embrace that offered comfort and laughter to those privileged to know him. Known for his excellent sense of humor, he was a big jokester whose infectious laughter could light up even the darkest days. As a devoted dad and uncle, Antonio relished every moment spent with his children, Adeline and Kyrin, and took immense pride in the joy their births brought him.
Beyond family, Antonio had passions that painted his life with vibrant strokes. He loved to barbeque outside, creating delicious meals that brought loved ones together around the grill, sharing stories and forming bonds that would last a lifetime. His adventurous spirit was evident in his hobbies; he enjoyed biking and skateboarding, essentials of his zest for life, while his love for cats added an extra layer of warmth to his heart.
Graduating from Ft. Thomas High School in 2012, Antonio made his mark in a world that seemed to revolve around him. His ability to spread joy and laughter was matched only by his unwavering support for family and friends. Survived by his beloved children, Adeline and Kyrin, his mother, Marylita Stanley, father, Anthony Norman, step-father, Ira Stanley, and siblings, David, Faith Joy, and Anthonya Norman and Mariah & Heidi Stanley, he leaves behind a legacy of love that will never be forgotten. His loyal pets, Crispy and Baby, will forever be reminders of his tenderhearted nature.
Though Antonio's time on this earth was dramatically cut short, his spirit remains alive in the memories shared by those who knew him. Those who are now amongst the stars, including his grandmothers, Thomasita Wilson and Marion Norman, as well as his grandfather, Willie Norman, await his reunion with open arms.
As we gather to honor Antonio’s remarkable life, let us cherish the joy he brought to our lives and keep his loving spirit close to our hearts. A visitation will be held at the Lighthouse Assembly of God in Bylas on Sunday, February 16, 2025, at 4:00 PM followed by a funeral service on Monday, February 17, 2025, at 1:00 PM, and a burial at Black Point Cemetery at 3:00 PM. In our shared sorrow, we celebrate a life well-lived—a life that taught us the true meaning of love, laughter, and the significance of family. Antonio "Cheese" "Tino" Ballard Norman, you will be missed but never forgotten.
