Ardelle Brooks

Ardelle Strong Brooks 1943 ~ 2008 Our beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend passed from this life December 7, 2008; after complications from surgery. Born August 4, 1943 to Elmer C. and Thelma Ackerman Strong. Married her sweetheart George A. Brooks, November 8, 1963. Ardelle is survived by her children, Heidi and Dan; grandson and light of her life, Scott; brothers and sisters: Betty (Lewis) Robinson, Jack (Barbara) Strong, Don (Diane) Strong, Lynn (Marilyn) Strong, Doris (Bob) Jack, Ted (Ginny) Strong, Bob (Carol) Strong, Richard Strong along with hundreds of nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her parents, husband and sister Carol. It was moms wish to be cremated and to have no funeral services. A celebration of her life will be held at a later date, please contact her family for details. Ardelle spent the last few months of her life working toward her temple recommend. She was a loving and giving person, always putting the needs of others before her own. We ask that in lieu of flowers that you follow moms example and do something for someone else.
