Arden Hoskins

Arden V. Hoskins 1924 ~ 2008 Arden V. Hoskins, 84, passed away on Nov. 3, 2008 in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Born June 18, 1924 in Portage, Utah to David and Elva Hoskins. Married Velda Bernice Anderson Aug. 6, 1946 and sealed in the Salt Lake Temple in 1985. He spent five years in the Army during WWII and was a Barber for 50 years. He Loved hunting and fishing and working in the garden. He belonged to the DAV and served as State and Chapter commander. He is survived by two sons, Ray A Hoskins, Salt Lake City, Utah; and Lary Hoskins and his wife Nellie, Colorado Springs, Colorado; and brother Deloy Hoskins Kaysville, Utah; five grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by wife Velda and son Lee Arden. Funeral Services will be held Monday Nov. 10, 2008 at 12 noon in the Cannon Stake Center 934 W. Freemont Ave, 1110 South. Viewing will be held Sunday 6-8 p.m. at McDougal Funeral Home 4330 So. Redwood Road and Friday at the church, 11-11:45 a.m. prior to the service. Interment, Utah Veterans Memorial Park, 17111 S. 1700 W.
