Arthur Paradez

Arthur Tudie Paredez, 66, of Safford, passed away peacefully, Friday morning, August 8, 2014, at his home. He was born August 15, 1947 in Morenci, AZ, to Manuel and Casiana Paredez. He met and later married Irene Arrelin on July 16, 1965. To this union was born three children: Arthur Artie, Christine and Jessica. Arthur and Irene moved to Mammoth, AZ when he started working at ASARCO Mine as a heavy equipment operator in 1966. He symbolized his dedication to Jehovah in baptism in 1974. He retired after 42 years and moved back to Safford. Arthur loved spending time will his family, especially his grandchildren. He will be missed very much. Arthur is survived by his children; Arthur Paredez, Christine (Manuel) Quintanilla and Jessica (Juan) Miranda, grandchildren; Christine Paredez, Monica Paredez, Talissah Paredez, Juan Miranda and Casiana Miranda, sisters; Katerine Rodriguez and Patricia (Baltazar) Rodriguez. He comes from a long line of the Sanchez family from the Gila Valley. He was preceded in death by his parents; Manuel and Casiana, wife Irene and his brother; Manuel Paredez. A memorial service for Arthur will be conducted Saturday, August 23, 2014 at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovahs Witness in Safford. Interment of his ashes will be at the Sanchez Cemetery. Arthurs family and friends cordially invite everyone to continue sharing memories at a luncheon at the American Legion in Solomon following services.
