We celebrate the life of Ashley Baca.
Ashley was more than a Senior Officer Specialist with the US Department of Corrections; she was a beacon of light in the lives of all who knew her. Her personality filled every room she entered, bringing joy and laughter wherever she went. Described as bubbly, fun, outgoing, and spontaneous, Ashley was truly the life of the party.
Born on February 26, 1991, Ashley's life was tragically cut short on July 12, 2024, due to a vehicle accident in Thatcher, Arizona. Despite the circumstances of her passing, we choose to focus on the beautiful memories she created during her time with us.
Ashley's proudest accomplishments included the birth of her beloved children Ezara and Zarek Hales and her engagement to Dallas McGinnis. Family meant everything to Ashley, and she cherished spending time with her loved ones. Her fiancé Dallas; children Ezara and Zarek; step-dad Joe Baca Jr; mother Janet Baca; siblings Matthew, Analisa, and Kasidy Baca; along with a host of other relatives survive her.
Family members who have gone before are her father George Baca Jr, her grandmother Glenda Elaine Humphry, grandfather Charles Ray Humphrey, grandmother Eloisa Baca, her uncle Raul Espinosa, and her cousin Anthony Gonzales. Each one enriched Ashley's life and the treasured memories of their time together.
Despite her untimely departure, Ashley leaves behind a legacy of love and laughter that will forever linger in the hearts of those who had the privilege of knowing her.
A funeral service will be held at The River Community Church in Safford, Arizona, at 1:00 p.m. followed by interment at Thatcher Cemetery. Let us come together to honor Ashley Baca's memory and find comfort in each other during this difficult time.
Rest in peace, Ashley. Your spirit will continue to shine brightly in our hearts forevermore.
