Barbara Wickham Coleman Wife, Mother, Sister, Grandmother Barbara Joyce Bettridge Wickham Coleman passed away peacefully in her sleep February 20, 2010 at her home. She was born May 29, 1936 in Cedar City, Utah to Thomas Ward Bettridge and Leola Turley Bettridge. She has one brother, Thomas Gerald Bettridge. Barbara grew up in Caliente, Nevada and graduated from Lincoln County High School. Her fathers job, with the Union Pacific Railroad, transferred them to SLC in 1955. She attended BYU, the U of U and received her Beautician license in 1958 from Hollywood Beauty College. She worked doing hair for family and friends, as a nurses aide, and over 20 years for the Newspaper Agency. Mom married Robert James Wickham February 25, 1959 in Evanston Wyoming. They had 5 sons and 4 daughters. He preceded her in death August 18, 1998. She later married Joseph Donald Coleman October 23, 1998 in Salt Lake City, Utah. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints with various callings. Some of her favorite things were her cats, going to the Senior Center, cheering for the Utah Jazz, watching the Lawrence Welk Show, going to movies, crocheting, sewing, quilting, crafts and family history. Survived by husband, Don; children: Mark, LuAnn, Carolee and Bruce Pyper, Joyce, Brent and Jana, Bruce, Lorilyn and Brandon Walker; daughter-in-law, Jodi; 11 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; brother, Gerald Bettridge. Preceded in death by parents; husband, Robert; sons, Ward and Wayne; granddaughter, BreAnn. Funeral services will be held Thursday, February 25, 2010, 11:00 a.m. at the Cannon 5th Ward, 1250 W.1400 S. A viewing will be held Wednesday, February 24, 2010 6:30-8:30 p.m. at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 So. Redwood Road and Thursday at the church, 10-10:45 a.m. Interment, Valley View Memorial Park, 4335 West 4100 South.
