Beatrice Kilby 1923 ~ 2007 Our loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend, Beatrice June Nielsen Kilby, age 84, passed away at home surrounded by her family August 2, 2007. Born June 7, 1923 in Ferron, Utah, daughter of Christian Theodore and Ethel Lujean Crawford Nielsen. Married Arthur Lee Kilby July 20, 1946 in Ferron, Utah; later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Beatrice was an active member of the LDS Church, having served as a Primary, Relief Society and Young Womens teacher. She will be missed by her husband of 61 years and her family. She was a mother to her four children and their best friend, and was always showing her unselfish love. Her joys included camping, fishing and being with extended family. Her love for the LDS Church was apparent throughout her life. She is survived by her husband, Arthur; children: Patty (Jerry) Townsend, Sandy, Jerry (Kaye) Kilby, Las Vegas, Jeffrey (Carol) Kilby, West Jordan, Kitty (Lynn) McEwan, Eagle Mountain; 10 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by her parents; 3 brothers and 4 sisters. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, 12 noon, at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road, where a viewing will be held Monday, 6 - 8 p.m. and again Tuesday, 11 - 11:45 a.m. Interment will follow at Redwood Memorial Estates.
