Beatrice McWhorter

Beatrice Onita McWhorter, 91, of Safford, formerly of Bisbee, entered into rest on Thursday, May 26, 2011 at the Eastwood Care Facility in Safford, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on May 10, 1920 in Bedias, TX, to Walter Maxwell and Martha Onita Spaulding. She married Richard McWhorter in January of 1939. Richard passed away in 2001. She is survived by her sons, Otis (Kitty) McWhorter of Safford, and Thurman McWhorter of Bisbee; brother, Lloyd Maxwell of Emory, TX; grandchildren, Guy McWhorter of Seattle, WA, Darrin (Maureen) McWhorter of Adelanto, CA, Kendra (Gary) Cutsforth of Soldotna, AK; and great grandchildren, Audrey Lynn McWhorter of Adelanto, CA, Larry and Shandra Cutsforth of Soldotna, AK. Private family services will be conducted at a later date.
