Belva Pulley Mackay Beloved Mom Belva Pulley Mackay, 87, passed away peacefully, with family by her side, June 29, 2008 in Sandy, Utah. Born June 8, 1921 in American Fork, Utah, daughter of Ether Orco and Mirl Bateman Pulley. Married Darrell Franklin Mackay June 14, 1940 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple; he preceded her in death June 8, 2001. She was an excellent homemaker, cook and mother. She loved to travel, crochet, sew and crafts of all kinds. She was an active member of the LDS Church and served in many callings. She had a deep love for family and grandchildren and worked for years side by side with her husband on their farm. Survived by children: Maurine (Farron) Hill, West Valley City; Darrell D. (Mary) Mackay, West Valley City; Larry E. (Debra) Mackay, Draper; Irene (Larry) Hayward, West Valley City; 18 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by brothers: Howard B. Pulley, Blaine Pulley and Eldon Pulley. The family would like to extend a special thanks to Sandy Regional Health Center nurses and aides and to Sunbrook Hospice. Funeral services will be held Thursday, 11:00 a.m. at the Corner Canyon Stake Center, 1300 East 13366 South. A viewing will be held Wednesday, 6:30-8:00 p.m. at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road and Thursday at the church, 10-10:45 a.m. prior to services. Interment, Redwood Memorial Estates.
