Ben Anderson Shaw aka "Beans", 45, was born on August 13, 1975, to Benedict Shaw Sr. and the late Shirley Shaw.
He is survived by his brother Benedict Shaw Jr., his sisters Renee Cosen and Hillary Pina of Bylas, Arizona and late brother Benjamin Shaw. He had five nieces; Adrianna & Kelsey Shaw, Bernadette McCreary, Analicia Cosen and Durayna Pina, three nephews; Adrian Josay, Durant Pina and Keegan Shaw. He also had three great-nephews; Aiden Sanchez, Hezekiah Rope, and Kaleb Perez.
Ben never had kids of his own, but at one point he did help raise Natasha Cruz.
Ben attended Pima High School and graduated in the Class of 1995.
He had many hobbies he enjoyed; cooking, fishing, going for long walks, he also played chess and a lot of solitary. One of his favorite meals he loved to make was his chili beans with fry bread. He also made some good homemade biscuits.
Everyone knew him as a funny, kind yet stubborn man who did not like to be told a lot. No matter how hard the family tried to bring him home, he always wanted to live free and be on the go.
A Visitation will be held at 9:00 AM, Wednesday, April 28, 2021, at Bylas Holiness Church followed by the Funeral Services at 10:00 AM. Interment will take place at Black Point Cemetery North.
