Benjamin Nations

Benjamin Nations, 81, of Safford, entered into rest July 16, 2015 at his home with his loving family at his side. He was born January 5, 1934 in Neblett, New Mexico, to James and Erma Lee Robbs Nations. Benjamin graduated from Virden High School in Virden, New Mexico in 1953. He spent his life in the Gila Valley and loved to fish and hunt. He served two years in the U.S. Army. Benjamin met the love of his life, Claudette McBride, and they were married in Lordsburg, New Mexico on June 16, 1953 and to this union were born two sons; Daniel B. and John R. Nations. He was a miner by trade and was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He is survived by his loving wife, Claudette Nations, son, Daniel B. Nations, five grandchildren; Wayne Nations, Thomas Nations, Russell Nations, James Vogeli and Brandi Nations, five great-grandchildren; Kyleigh Nations, Cameron Nations, Ryan Nations, Madison Nations, Justin Swenson and Mathew Vogeli. Benjamin was preceded in death by his parents; James & Erma Lee Robbs Nations, son, John R. Nations and siblings Raymond, Richard, Joye, and Robert Nations. A graveside service for Benjamin will be held on Saturday, July 25, 2015 at 9:00 a.m. in the Duncan Cemetery in Duncan, Arizona.
