Berna Petersen

Berna Petersen 1922 ~ 2010 Berna Katharine Petersen passed away peacefully on March 24, 2010. She was born April 28, 1922 in Menominee, Michigan to Carl Christoph Louis and Edna Louise Curzon Ohms. She married Kenneth Vernon Peterson on July 24, 1944; later solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple. Mom was generous to her family with her time and talents. She enjoyed many crafts, especially oil painting and porcelain dolls, and shared these skills with others. Berna is survived by her daughters, Darleen Twitchell and Karen (Ken) Gee. Preceded in death by her husband Kenneth, and their daughter Rene (Bill) Paul. Graveside services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on March 27, 2010 at Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park, 3401 South Highland Drive, Salt Lake City, Utah. The family wishes to thank Legacy House of Taylorsville and Inspiration Hospice for the loving care they gave mom.
