Bernece Wheeler

Bernece Anderson Wheeler Precious Wife, Mother and Grandmother Bernece Wayman Anderson Wheeler, 89, passed away May 1, 2008 in Salt Lake City, Utah. Born January 7, 1919 in Huntington, Utah to Emmanuel and Anna Black Wayman. Her mother died when Bernece was 2 years old. Her father then married Marie Carlock who became her second mother. Together they raised Bernece and her sister, Anna, in Ferron, Utah. She married Kenneth Earl Anderson July 20, 1936; later solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple June 25, 1965. Kenneth died February 27, 1983. Bernece married Wilford Wheeler October 18, 1988 in the Manti Temple; he died June 24, 1990. Survived by daughter, Roma McBride and son, Earl (Della) Anderson; grandchildren: Daren (Tracy) Anderson and Jason Anderson; great-grandchildren: Josh and Liz, Xavier and Orion; step-grandchildren: Ron, Don and Lloyd (Margaret) McBride; 5 step grandchildren; 2 step great-grandchildren; 2 step great-great grandchildren; Wheeler stepchildren: Earl (Jean) Wheeler, Mont (Barbara) Wheeler, Cliff Wheeler, LaVon (Jerry) Neilson, Georgia (Bryce) Jackson, Donna (Paul) Black; 25 step grandchildren; 66 step great-grandchildren; 12 step great-great grandchildren; sister, Florence (Marv) Sealy. Also preceded in death by daughter, Millie May Anderson; sisters: Anna, Laura; brothers, Eldon, Rulon and Ray; son-in-law, Glenn McBride. The family would like to extend a special thanks to CareSource for their help and love. Also, a special thanks to Russell Swan for all the love he has shown to Bernece. Funeral services will be held Thursday, 10:00 a.m. at the Poplar Grove Ward, 1401 West 700 South, Salt Lake City. A viewing will be held Wednesday, 6-8 p.m. at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road and Thursday at the church, 9-9:45 a.m. prior to services. Interment, Ferron City Cemetery.
