Berry West

Berry Eugene West Jr. (Bud) was born October 19, 1939, in Safford and passed away November 11, 2015 in Tucson. He graduated from Thatcher High School with the class of 1957. He served in the United States Airforce for twenty years. After retiring, he worked for Phelps Dodge in Playas, New Mexico. He is survived by his wife of 32 years: Glenda Conyer West, and four children: Martina Stika Bonnie Craft, Sylvia Elrod, and Berry West III all of Illinois. He is also survived by his mother Bonnie West, four sisters: Mary Jane, Judy, Barbara, and Sherri, and one brother: Bill. Berry was preceded in death by his grandson Nathan Decker. He has 9 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. Services will be at Noon, at the LDS Stake Center in Safford, on Wednesday, November 18, 2015 with a viewing one hour prior to services. Interment will follow at the Thatcher Cemetery.
