Betty Virginia Scott Edmunds 1924 ~ 2008 Betty Virginia Scott Edmunds, age 84, passed away on September 8, 2008. Born June 4, 1924 in Murray, Utah, to Frank A. And Ruby Palmer Scott. Married Vern Edmunds November 26, 1941 in the Salt Lake Temple. Betty had a charismatic personality which attracted many loving friends. Her great cooking blessed visitors and family in their home, which was a gathering place for young people. Pop and Gran loved to dance and shared that love through dance instruction to many youth in the Bennion area. Her love for learning and work ethic were passed on to future generations who often cheered We think Granny is terrific. Thanks to the loving people who gave care and service to our mother. Survived by children: Denny (Dian) Edmunds, Linda (Ross) Labrum, Susan (Max) Whiting; 17 grandchildren, 44 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by her husband, Vern on May 3, 2008; daughter, Debra; 2 grandchildren; 2 brothers and 2 sisters. Funeral Services will be held Friday, September 12, 2008, 11:00 a.m. at the Bennion 4th Ward, 6100 South Kamas Drive (2480 West). A viewing will be held Thursday from 6-8 p.m. at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road and from 10-10:45 a.m. prior to services. Interment, Valley View Memorial Park
