Jean R. Farnsworth 1926 ~ 2010 Betty Jean R. Farnsworth, loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend, 84, passed away May 7, 2010 in Salt Lake City, Utah from natural causes. Born February 19, 1926 in Union, Utah to Erma Venice Snedaker and Edwin Rush Reeves. Married Donald E. Farnsworth, on June 1, 1946; later solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple. She loved music, oil painting, bowling, serving in Primary callings, avid Jazz fan, voracious reader, and connoisseur collector. She is survived by her children: Darrell (Miriam) Farnsworth, Craig (Terri) Farnsworth, Sharon (Charles) Waller, Debra Thompson, KaLynn (Richard) Ninow, Richard (Becky) Farnsworth; sister, Georgia (Robert) Yates; 24 grand children; 30 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by husband, 4 sisters and 1 brother Funeral services will be held Thursday, May 13, 2010 12:00 noon at the Taylorsville Gardens 1st Ward, 4252 South Bennion Road. Viewings will be held Wednesday, 6-8:00 p.m. at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road and Thursday, 11-11:45 a.m. at the church. Interment, Valley View Memorial Park.
