Betty Nola Frost Park In Memory of Mom Betty Nola Frost Park, beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother, sister, aunt and friend passed away peacefully at the Sandy Regional Health Center on April 30, 2008. She was born on December 18, 1925 to Henry Lester Frost and Sarah Carmelia Jorgensen in Bennion, Utah. She was the youngest of five children. Her mother died on Bettys fifth birthday in childbirth. Betty married Max S. Park on January 12, 1944 in DeRidder, Louisiana. They lived there a month until Max was shipped overseas to Europe. After her marriage, Betty worked in the navy Supply Depot in Clearfield, Utah, while Max was in the service. She was manager over school lunches for many years at Granger Elementary. They lived and raised their family in Bennion. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple on June 10, 1946. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served in many organizations with a love for the Primary that she served in for 16 years. Betty served with Max in the Jordan River Temple for 3 years. Mom was a good example for all of us. She was honest, caring and charitable and tried her best to live a good life. We, her children and posterity, are proud of her and love yer. Survived by her daughter, Bonnie (Patrick) Powell, Sandy; sons, Lester M. (Pamela), Taylorsville; Terry L. (Sandy), Murray; Robert D. (Susan) Taylorsville; 17 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren; brother & sister in laws, Joseph & Beth Smith, Craig & Barbara Park, Margaret Park, Ellen Park, Arlene Park. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Max, of 58 years; brothers, Wilson, Don & Darrell; sister, Fern. The family wishes to thank Sandy Regional and Applegate Hospice for their special care and compassion. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 3, 2008, 12:00 noon at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road. Friends may call from 10:30-11:45 a.m. prior to services. Interment, Larkin Sunset Gardens.
