Betty Lee Howell Taggart 1927 ~ 2010 Betty Lee Howell Taggart, beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, passed away at her home in Taylorsville, Utah, January 15, 2010, one day before her 83rd birthday, surrounded by her family. She was born January 16, 1927 to James Verl Howell and Vida Laveena Ward Howell in McCammon, Idaho. Her father died when she was nine years old, leaving her to shoulder extra responsibilities as she helped her widowed mother care for her four younger siblings. We are grateful for her love and example. Blessed with many talents, Mom played the piano and organ beautifully and passed her love of music on to her family. She was a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She influenced peoples lives for good through her tireless service, whether in the Church, with family, friends or those in need and generously shared her musical talents.
