Beverly J. Lee, 57, of Safford passed away on August 18, 2009. She was born in Morenci on October 20, 1951 to Jack and Josephine Stewart and had two older brothers, Davis and Kenneth. The family moved to Pima before she started school. Beverly graduated from Pima High School in 1969. She married Charles Sprau and was blessed with her first child Tonya. She later married Wilson H. Lee on February 11, 1978 and welcomed two more children, Wendi and Wilson II. Beverly worked as a supervisor for an adult home and worked with the developmentally disabled for over 6 years. She enjoyed painting, embroidery, interior decorating, collecting clocks, watches and any other type of timepiece and visiting the ocean. Most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family, and was a very caring mother and grandmother. Beverly is survived by her children, Tonya J. Johnson (Greg), Wendi J. Lee (Phillip Villalba), and Wilson H. Lee II; siblings, Davis Stewart, and Kenneth Stewart; and 3 grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband Wilson Lee; and her parents Jack and Josephine Stewart. Funeral Services will be conducted Tuesday, August 25 at 9 a.m. in the Caldwell Funeral Chapel. Interment will follow in the Artesia Cemetery.
