Billy Grant, Sr

Billy Grant, Sr. was born on May 6, 1950, in San Carlos, Arizona, and passed away peacefully on November 11 2024, in Bylas, Arizona. A deeply loving husband, father, and grandfather, he dedicated life to the service of others as a pastor for the Bylas Holiness Church. His faith was a cornerstone of his existence, and he cherished his relationship with Jesus.

Billy was known for his warm personality, with a particular joy in sharing stories and collecting old hymns. His love for storytelling brought smiles to many faces and helped to foster a sense of community and connection among those around him. As a pastor, he touched countless lives through his compassion and commitment to spreading love and understanding within his community.

Billy is survived by his devoted spouse, Rita Ann Grant, and his children, Beverly King, Billie Jean King, Billy Grant, Jr., Loren Anderson Grant, and Alicia Peshalkai. He was also a proud grandfather to 18 grandchildren and delighted in the joy of 14 great-grandchildren. His family will carry forward his legacy of kindness and faith, remembering the lessons he imparted and the love he shared.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Anderson Grant and Evelyn Gomez Grant, and his beloved son, Christopher Grant.

A visitation will be held on November 16, 2024, from 4:00 AM to 9:30 AM at the Bylas Holiness Church, followed by a funeral service at the same location from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM. Billy will be laid to rest at Black Point Cemetery in Bylas, Arizona, starting at 12:00 PM. He will be dearly missed, not only by his family but by all who had the privilege of knowing him. His spirit will forever live on in the hearts of those he touched with his warmth, faith, and storytelling.
