Blaine Douglas Brown Gone Fishing Our beloved husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, uncle and friend, Blaine Douglas Brown, 83, passed away July 10, 2009. Born August 21,1925 in Greenwich, Utah, to Lester Earl and Flora Belle Stoker Brown. Married Norma Lou DeLange, February 1944 in the Manti Temple. She preceded him in death. Married Ruth Crane Powell, (div). Then married Bonnie Boan, ( div). He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He was a farmer and retired from United Airlines. Blaine enjoyed hunting and fishing and served in the US Navy in World War II. He is survived by his children: Charlene (LaMont) Burningham, Douglas Blaine (Debby) Brown, Robert Glen (Delsa) Powell, Earl J.(Betty) Brown, Marie (Wayne) Christiansen, Mark Unsworth (son-in-law), Garn Edwin (Carol) Brown, Leila (Brandon) Bowen; 32 grandchildren, 68 great grandchildren; sister Anna Lou Williams. Preceded in death by parents; siblings, Garnell, Wanda, and Darwin; daughter, Vickie Powell Unsworth; and 2 grandchildren;. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, July 15, 2009, 10:00 a.m. at Ridgeland Acres Chapel, 3175 So. 3450 West. Viewings will be held Tuesday, 6-8 pm at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road and Wednesday at the church, 9-9:45 a.m. Interment, Koosharem City Cemetery.
