Bonnie Hair

Bonnie Ann Sorensen Hair 1951 ~ 2008 Bonnie Ann Sorensen Hair, age 57, passed away peacefully on July 5, 2008 after a valiant fight with breast cancer. She was born on June 7, 1951 to James Bernell and Ila Mae Young Sorensen in Murray, Utah. She was raised in Spanish Fork, Utah, the oldest of six children. She married Eldon Johnson Hair in the Manti LDS Temple on January 21, 1970. Bonnie was a wonderful and loving mother to five children: Jonathon, Adam, Jared, Julie and Rachel. She has nine grandchildren. Bonnie was a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Her unshakeable faith in her Savior, Jesus Christ, was seen in her everyday actions and words. She had great love for those that came into her life, whether it be for a few minutes or for years. She loved being a mother and grandmother so much that she adopted another daughter, Jodi, and four more grandchildren. She lived her life to the fullest and was happiest when she was spending time with family. Bonnie worked as a secretary for ZCMI for 13 years. She then worked in the Admitting Dept. at the University Hospital for the past 10 years. Bonnie is survived by three children: Jonathon (Stacy), Julie (Jeff) and Rachel; nine grandchildren; mother, Ila Mae; brothers, Jim and Dennis; sisters, Pam, Paulla and Linda. Preceded in death by husband, Eldon; sons, Adam and Jared; father, James Bernell. The family would like to give a special thanks to the wonderful doctors and nurses at the Huntsman Cancer Hospital for the great love and care they showed our mother. Thanks also to Vista Care for their help during Bonnies last few weeks. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, July 9, 2008, 11:00 a.m. at the Granger West LDS Stake Center, 3901 West 2925 South. A viewing will be held on Tuesday from 6-8 p.m. at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road and from 10-10:45 a.m. prior to services. Interment, Spanish Fork Cemetery.
