Brandon Hunter

Brandon James Hunter, Sr., a beloved husband, father, son, brother, and friend, passed away tragically on February 10, 2025, in Chandler, Arizona. Born on August 24, 1996, in Globe, Arizona, Brandon lived a life rich with love, laughter, and cherished memories. He was a true jokester, bringing joy to all who were lucky enough to know him. His vibrant personality and sharp wit made every gathering brighter and every moment lighter.

A proud graduate of Liberty High School in Globe, Arizona, class of 2018, Brandon excelled in his career as a security professional for the Apache Tribe. Yet, it was his role as a dedicated family man that filled his life with the greatest joy. He often expressed his love through simple but profound gestures, always making a point to say, “Love you Mom!” showcasing the bond he shared with his mother, Kendralyn Antonio.

Brandon was honored to marry his soulmate, Cecelia Hunter (née Sneezy), on April 15, 2018, at St. Peter's Lutheran Church, an event marked by joy and love that will forever be etched in the hearts of all who attended. Together, they welcomed two beautiful sons into their lives, Brandon Hunter, Jr. and Luke Hunter, each day filled with their father’s laughter and love.

He found great delight in the outdoors, sports, drawing, and spending time with his family. Brandon’s playful spirit will be remembered fondly by his siblings, Malachi Hunter, Ayden Brooks, Ami Hunter, and Trishelle Longstreet, who will carry forward his legacy of humor and kindness.

The family mourns the loss of Brandon alongside the departed family members who have gone before him, including his father, Jasper Hunter, Jr., his brother, Josiah Hunter, and cherished grandparents McKenzie Longstreet, Sr., Lorraine Longstreet, and Lorraine Edwards-Hunter. Each of them left a mark on his life, and he now joins their loving embrace in the eternal rest.

Brandon's family will honor his memory with a viewing on Friday, February 21, 2025, at 4:00 PM at the Hunter Residence in Peridot, AZ. A funeral service will follow on Saturday, February 22, 2025, at 1:00 PM at Snyder-Burdette Hall in San Carlos, AZ, with a burial at Six Mile Cemetery at 4:00 PM.

Though Brandon is no longer with us in person, his spirit will continue to live on in the hearts of his loved ones. The joy he brought to our lives, the legacy of love he created, and the memories we hold dear will forever remind us of the incredible person he was. Rest in peace, Brandon James Hunter, Sr. You will be missed beyond words, yet loved beyond measure.
