Brandon Merrill

John Brandon Merrill "JB", 31, of Safford passed away on August 14, 2017. He was born on March 7, 1986 in Lancaster, CA to Mary Merrill and James Freeman. JB worked for many years as a welder and fabricator and was known by many as the best in the business. When he wasn't working, he enjoyed hunting, 4-wheeling, camping with his family, shooting and any other outdoor activity. The births of his children Brandon and Arabella, though those weren't his only children, meant the world to him. He is survived by his children, Brandon Merrill, Arabella Reign Merrill, Jaylyn Jurado, Dion, Abel and Mari Lopez, his parents James Freeman and Mary Merrill, his siblings, Adam Freeman, Michele Sanchez, Robin Freeman, Elizabeth Soto, Javier Rodriguez and Candice Rodriguez, and his grandfather, Roosevelt Freeman. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Clovis Freeman, and Mr. and Mrs. John Merrill. A memorial service for JB has been scheduled for 1 p.m. on Saturday, August 26, 2017 at McDougal's Caldwell Funeral Chapel.
