Brenda French, 28 passed away in Tucson on July 28, 2010. Funeral Services will be conducted Thursday, August 5, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. in the 20th Street LDS Chapel with visitation begining at 8:00 a.m. Interment will be in the Safford Cemetery. Brenda Elaine French was born December 28, 1981 in Willcox, Arizona; this beautiful child brought joy to everyone she met. Brenda celebrated life everyday with wit, humor and an adventurous spirit. Always one step ahead of the pack and striving go as far and fast as she could, she never looked backed. There were no boundaries for Brenda as she pushed herself to do and be more. Those who ever met Brenda were touched by her kindness and generosity and knew they were loved. After graduating from Winslow High School in 2000, Brenda tried various work fields dabbling in security and corrections until she attended EAC for an EMT course, finding her true calling. She started as an EMT with the Sunsites-Pearce Fire Department; and then returned to EAC to obtain her Paramedic certification and become the Captain of EMS services for the same organization. Continuing her educational endeavors at EAC, Brenda received her Fire Fighter I & II certification most recently. The sky wasnt even the limit for Brenda as she had recently accepted a position with "Life Net and completed her orientation and training to be a flight paramedic. Brenda resided in Safford, Arizona, with her duty station with the Life Net organization in Willcox, Arizona. Brenda is survived by and will be deeply missed by her parents D. Joe French of Meeker CO, and Kelly A. (Scott) Yates of Kingman, Az., along with her brother Thomas J. (Jolene) French of Safford, Az., and a half brother Raymond J. French of Roosevelt, Az. Also surviving Brenda are her Grandparents W.L. and Juanita French of Willcox, Az., and Terry and Billie Lawson of Safford, Az., numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews along with a vast amount of friends and her closest friend Heidi Samuelson. Brenda was preceded in death by her uncle Brian K. Lawson in 2006.
