Brent J. Richards Loved His Country Brent J. Richards, 60, passed away November 8, 2010, in Murray, Utah. Born January 11, 1950, in Idaho Falls, Idaho, son of LaFoy J. and Donna Ruth Olsen Richards. He proudly and bravely served in the U.S. Marine Corps during the Vietnam War, where he earned the Purple Heart award. Brent is survived by his daughter, Heaven Zoe Robinson; 4 grandchildren; parents; sisters: Jana L. Richards and Allison Richards; brothers: Evan D. Richards and Terrell K. Richards. Brent was a friend to everyone--opening his home, his heart, and his hand, especially to those most in need. He was very loved and will be greatly missed. The family wishes to express their deep gratitude to the hospital staff and volunteers at the VA Hospital and the medical team in the Shock-Trauma Unit at Intermountain Medical Center for the compassionate care they gave to Brent during the final days of his life. A graveside memorial service, including military funeral honors, will be held Monday, November 15, 11 a.m. at the Utah Veterans Memorial Park, 17111 S. Camp Williams Road Bluffdale, Utah.
