Brian Baker

Brian Lee Baker, 21, of Clifton/Morenci, passed away in April 14, 2013. Brian was born February 10, 1992 in Safford, AZ to Kevin and Sylvia Baker. He grew up in Clifton where he attended and graduated from Morenci High School. Brian attended Eastern Arizona College immediately following high school graduation then left and became a construction worker for Jacobs Construction. Brian had a loving heart. He loved playing basketball, golf, baseball and many other sports. You name it, he did it. Brian leaves behind his mom, Sylvia L. Baker, two brothers Robert Lee and James Lee Baker, niece; Alivia Baker, nephew; Andrew Baker, Uncles Tony and Johnny Gonzales, Aunt Mary Dominguez, cousins; Jonika Gonzales, Chris, Michelle & Steven Dominguez and Grandpa Jose Gonzales. But most of all he leaves the love and faith he gave towards people. Brian was preceded in death by his friend Marty Tsinnie. Viewing for Brian will begin at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 30, 2013 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Clifton, with rosary being led by Dora Chavarria at 7:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9:00 a.m. on Wednesday, May 1, 2013 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, with Rev. Father Martin Atanga as Celebrant. Interment will be in the Sacred Heart Cemetery.
