Byron Uhrhan

Byron H. Uhrhan 1932 ~ 2007 Our father, brother, and friend, Byron H. Uhrhan, returned to his Father in Heaven Monday, July 9, 2007. Byron is the son of Pauline Mros and Alfred Uhrhan and was born in Ogden, Utah April 4, 1934. Byron married Helga Ernst in the Salt Lake Temple April 11, 1958 and together they had four children: Byron A, Kevin H (Colette), Loralie (La Mar), and Tina. Byron served in the U.S. Navy and spent countless hours volunteering for the DAV Honor Guard as well as the Boy Scouts of America. He worked as a Draftsman for many years and enjoyed several hobbies such as drawing, reading, miniatures, stamp collecting, ceramics, sailboats, and airplanes. Byron is preceded in death by both his parents and wife. He is survived by his 4 children, 11 grandchildren: Skyler, Jessica, Audrey, Ashley, Austin, La Tysha, Liesel, Larissa, Liam, Landon, and Tristan; 2 great-grandchildren: Taylor and Cole; brother; Frank Uhrhan (Annette). Byron was loved and will be missed by his family and friends. Funeral services will be held Saturday, July 14, 2007, 11:00 a.m. at the Taylorsville Park Ward, 1555 West Lovely Road (5095 S.). A viewing will be held Friday, July 13, 2007, 6-8 p.m. at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road and Saturday at the church10-10:45 a.m. Interment, Redwood Memorial Estates.
