Evelyn Jensen 1913 ~ 2009 Charlotte Evelyn Jenkins Jensen, our much-loved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great grandmother, passed away September 12, 2009 at the age of 95. She was born September 20, 1913 in Magna, Utah. She married her eternal companion, Ray Burwell Jensen, on December 9, 1934 and they were sealed in the Salt Lake LDS Temple in 1935. They had been married for 67 years when he passed away in 2002. Evelyn was sweet, patient, kind, loving and touched many lives with her wonderful example and charity. She loved being a mom, grandma and homemaker. She served in many church callings and enjoyed temple and missionary work. Evelyns greatest happiness came from her family. She is survived by her children: Dennis (Delila), Bill (Carlene), Sharlene Buckner (Barry), Randy (Gaylene), David (Colleen); 21 grandchildren; 62 great-grandchildren; 7 great-great grandchildren; 3 sisters. Funeral services will be Thursday, September 17, 2009, 11:00 a..m. at the River Ridge 1st Ward, 10200 South 1300 West, South Jordan, UT. A viewing will be Wednesday from 6-8 p.m. at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road and on Thursday at the Church from 10-10:45 a.m. Interment, Valley View Memorial Park.
