Camilo Sanchez Rodriguez Jr., 53, entered into rest at his home in Thatcher while surrounded by his loving family. He was born on December 3, 1958 in Safford to Camilo Rodriguez Sr. and Alicia Sanchez Rodriguez. In his youth Camilo attended grade school and junior high in Safford and graduated from Safford High School. Following high school he attended University of Phoenix. He was a hard working young man. He loved fishing and camping and he was a huge Arizona Cardinals fan; but the thing which he loved the most, his most prized possession, was his family. He is survived by his loving wife of 34 years, Rachael Rodriguez; his son, Joseph Rodriguez; his daughter, Stacey Rodriguez; his father, Camilo Rodriguez Sr.; his grandchildren, Alex Rodriguez, Jonathan Palamino, Gabriella Palamino, Joshua Escobedo, Izabella Escobedo, Azella Rodriguez, Jerzee Rodriguez, and Micah Medina. He is preceded in death by his daughter, Laurie Ann Rodriguez and his mother Alice Sanchez Rodriguez. Mass of a Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, June 19, 2012 at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church with Rev. Father Edward Lucero as Celebrant. A viewing will be held at 6 p.m. with rosary being recited at 7 p.m. on Monday, June 18, 2012 also at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church. Interment will be in the Safford Cemetery.
