Carl Cox

Carl "Scott" Cox, born on November 14, 1971, in Thatcher, Arizona, passed away unexpectedly on October 17, 2024, in Safford, Arizona. Scott is remembered for his friendly demeanor and the warmth he brought to those around him.

A graduate of Durango Colorado High School, Scott furthered his education at Eastern Arizona College.  He dedicated a significant part of his career as an employee at Thriftee Super Market, a position that allowed him to interact and connect with many members of the community.

He loved music and working in the Gila Valley Arizona Temple.

Scott was cherished and supported by his family, including his father, Ronald Cecil Cox, and his mother, Janet Hunt Cox. His presence will be profoundly missed, but the memories he created will remain in the hearts of all who knew him.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that you do a good deed for someone in need, something anonymous or something grand, just something that would make Scott smile.
