Carl Krass

Carl Kenneth Krass, born Oct. 3, 1953 in Morenci, Az and passed away Dec. 5, 2012 at his home in Clifton, Az. He is survived by his son Eli and Eli's family, Maggie and grandchildren, Anjelica, Gabriel, Anna, Joseph, and the light of his life, Granddaughter, Leilani Diane Krass. He is also survived by his brothers, Jim Krass, Farmington, NM and Mike Krass, Tigard, Or, sister, Irene Gardiner, neices, Denise, Kathy, Angela and Terri. Nephews, Donnie, Jimmy and Isaiah. He is also survived by his ex-wife Diane Krass and his best buddy, Necie McClary. Carl was preceded in death by his Mom and Dad, Carl and Meg Krass, and by his parents, Peggy Krass and Larry Johnson. Carl and his Brat dog had lived in Clifton for the last few years in the garage apartment of his close friends, Pat Provensio and Jennifer Chavez and their children, Denisia, Patrick and Gabriella. He was Papa Carl to all the kids that he loved and who loved him. Carl was a lover of the outdoors and taught that love to his son, Eli. Together they camped, fished and hiked the mountains, lakes and rivers of Az. For a few years they lived the lives of "mountain men" at their "Ranch" which was 13 miles from Mexico. As Carl always said, " the whole outdoors is my church!" And in that spirit, instead of a funeral service now, Eli has decided to hold a celebration of his Dad's life this next spring up in the mountains that he loved.
