Carlton Sandefur

CARL SANDEFUR 1965 – 2022 Carl Sandefur passed away at his home on June 4, 2022 in Safford, AZ at the age of 56. Carl is survived by his son Tell Sandefur, sister Barb (Chris) Darling, nephew Mitch Bumby, ex-wife Kerri Mendes, step-son Daniel Mendes, and step-daughter Sierra Brown. Carl was preceded in death by his parents and son, Tyrel Sandefur. Carl was born and raised in Steamboat Springs, CO. After high school, he earned two degrees in Diesel and Automotive Technology which led him to his career working in parts shops and selling MAC and Snap-on Tools. Carl loved talking tools, tractors and hunting. He loved his family and taught his children and stepchildren strong moral and work ethic. Carl was always helping anyone with needs. He had faith in Jesus Christ his Savior. A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, June 8, at 2:00 pm at The River Community Church, 1726 S 1st St, Safford, AZ. In lieu of flowers, Carl’s family is requesting donations be made to the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation.
