Joy Kalian Brown Our Little Energizer Bunny Carol Joy Kalian Brown, age 82, passed away on January 4, 2008 at the home of her daughter in St. George, Utah. Born November 4, 1925 in Salt Lake City, Utah to George W. And Ethel Vilate Startin Kalian. She was married on June 2, 1945 to Virgil Rex Brown and raised a family in Salt Lake City, Utah. She was a super Mom and Grandmother and spent as much time with her family as possible. Over the passed 5 years, she has lived in St. George, Utah, with her daughter and son-in-law and enjoying the times when her family could come to visit her in the warm weather. Mom you have always been there for the whole family and passed out all the love we could ever need. You will always be in our hearts and prayers and will be missed by each and every one of us. You are now back in the arms of the love of your life and the other love of our lifes. We will love and miss you and think of you everyday. We would also like to thank Applegate Hospice and Home Health for all the special care they gave our Mom. We would also like to thank her granddaughter, Jill, for taking good care of her at home. Survived by two children and their spouses. Daughter, Linda & Wayne Cox; son, Larry & Barbara Brown. She was also survived by one sister, Fay Watson & brother, Lamer Kalian; four grandchildren: Tennille, Shelby, Tony & Steven; 9 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by her husband, Virgil; parents, Ethel and George Kalian; sister, Phyllis Roth. Graveside services will be Thursday, January 10, 2008, 12:30 p.m. at Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park, 3401 South Highland Drive. A viewing will be held from 11:00 a.m.-12:00 noon at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road.
