Carolina Ulery

November 19, 1962 ~ July 10, 2024

Carolina Carabeo Ulery "Caro" joined our parents, Juan & Carmen Carabeo in heaven on Wednesday, July 10, 2024 surrounded by her family. Caro was born November 19, 1962 along with her twin sister, Cathy Maschue "Cati" in Bisbee, AZ.  She was raised in Bisbee until her family transferred to Morenci in 1975.

Caro worked at a Preschool shortly after high school graduation. She was a member of the Altar and Rosary Society and The Red Hats. She loved to bowl and watch game shows on TV especially Bob Barker on The Price is Right. Her sport teams were the Morenci Wildcats, Arizona Cardinals, Arizona Diamondbacks and the Phoenix Suns. She could always predict the weather by how her bones were feeling. She loved her daily donut/pan dulce, onion rings and Pepsi (hot or cold). Everyone that knows Caro, knows that her most favorite hobby in her entire life was playing the lottery. Didn’t matter what state she was visiting, she couldn’t wait to try her luck on the Scratch Offs. Her luck was pretty good. 

Caro’s gentle spirit, huge smile, loud laugh and funny sense of humor are just a few of Caro’s wonderful attributes. No matter what health issues she suffered for the last 60 years, she accepted them and did her very best with what she could do. One of the strongest & joyful persons you could ever have been blessed to have in your life. Just like our Mom, she went to heaven with pearls and lipisticky.

Besides our parents, Caro is proceeded in death by her sister, Patricia.

She is survived by her greatest pride and joy, her daughter Becca Ulery and grandchildren, Corbin Ulery and Azlina Dominguez, her sister, Brenda Street and nieces Charleigh and Brooklyn Street also lived in the home and between all of them they were the most compassionate and loving caregivers anyone could ask for. She is also survived by siblings: Maria (Taco) Brinton; Johnny (Dawn) Carabeo; Annie (David) Quintino; and Cathy (Rob) Maschue. Nieces and nephews: Angelica (John) Carden; Gabriel (Sarah) Brinton; Chuy (Nicole) Quintino; John Quintino; Sean Maschue; Christopher (Catherine) Maschue; Monica (Ricky) Cannata; Daniel Maschue; Kelsey (Pugs) Pugmire; Juanito Carabeo; and Kylee Carabeo. Plus 21 great nieces and nephews.

Her Celebration of Life will be on Friday, July 26th at Holy Cross Church beginning with rosary at 9:00 a.m., Mass at 10:00 and burial immediately following at the Sacred Heart Cemetery.
