Carolyn L Jones Patsy Our beloved wife, mother and grandma, Carolyn Louise Jones, 70, passed away March 2, 2009, with her loving husband by her side, after a courageous battle with cancer. Born December 13, 1938 in Salt Lake City, Utah, daughter of Clarence LeRoy and Louise Mariam Crawford Lane. Married Joseph Raymond Jones June 29, 1956; solemnized March 10, 1972 in the Salt Lake Temple. Survived by her husband; children: Wendy (George) Hastings, Kenneth (Vickie) Jones, Melvin Jones, Donald (Robin) Jones; 6 grandchildren: Kenna (John) Forsyth, Sean (Holly) Jones, Michael (TerriLynn) Hastings; Kyle and Jason Jones; Ryan Hastings; 6 great-grandchildren: Dylan, Kelsey, Blaze, JayLynn, Eian and Alexis; brother, Melvin (Margie) Lane; sister, Penny Facer; brother-in-law, Fred Stoltenberg. Preceded in death by her parents and sister, Peggy. Funeral services will be held Friday, 1:00 p.m. at the Copper Hills 7th Ward, 4185 South 6000 West where a viewing will be held at the church Thursday, 6-8 p.m. and Friday, 12-12:45 p.m. prior to services. Interment, Valley View Memorial Park. Arrangements under the direction of McDougal Funeral Home.
