Cathy Ehlers See Ya At The Pool On July 24, 2010, a beautiful, sunny day, Cathy Jane Orr Ehlers, left this world and reunited with her beloved husband, Brian. Cathy was born May 1, 1957 in Salt Lake City, Utah daughter of Wally and Bonnie Crystal Orr, the youngest of three children. She graduated from Skyline High School. She married Brian Ehlers in September, 1999 and moved to Glendale, AZ. They spent seven wonderful years together enjoying their pool, dog, Indy and cat, Zeemer. Brian was the light of her life. Cathys favorite place to be was in the pool. She made it a point to call her family on a dreary January day, making splashing sounds into the phone just to make sure everyone knew she was relaxing in the pool while we were watching the snow come down in Utah. Sometimes in the background we could hear Brian doing a cannonball into the pool. When Brian was suddenly taken from her in May of 2006, she was heartbroken. She moved back to Utah to be with her family. She is survived by her father, Wally; sister, Debbie (Reed) Oberndorfer; brother, Rick (Sallee) Orr; 3 nephews; 5 nieces; and her cat, of 15 years, Zeemer. Also preceded in death by her mother, Bonnie. We will miss Cathy and her quiet ways but we are at peace knowing she is with her two loves - Brian and Indy. We love you, Cathy, and well see ya at the pool! Graveside services will be held Saturday, July 31, 2010, 4:00 pm at Elysian Burial Gardens, 1075 East 4580 South. Arrangements under the direction of McDougal Funeral Home.
